Come to Bed! installation at Bosi Contemporary, New York, NY, March – April 2015

Neural: Cleave, Like Alice is Michelle Jaffé’s installation in the 3 person exhibition curated by Roya Sachs Come to Bed!, also featuring works by artists Marta Jovanović and Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos.

Come to Bed! explored the theme of communication in the sphere of the bed; a place that hosts one third of our lives.

The all-female show focused on three sectors of communication that bring to play the different usages of the bed, from self-reflection & pillow talk, to technology with our need to stay connected. The installations reoriented ideas of time and space, by recreating the most intimate space of all, but in a gallery.

Neural: Cleave, Like Alice, 9:50 minute audio composition asks “What are you afraid of, Will I know when the time comes, Will you join me, Will I go alone, Finding love, Can I make the journey?”
